We have not been idle the last months and have launched a number of new features and bugfixes

• We now offer our website in two languages, English and German. Since all strings must be renewed, we could not yet translate the whole content. But this will be done step by step.
• Since our website is now also available in German, a new additional domain "media-upload.de" was added.
• When uploading a file, the progress bar and the font have been made more visible.
• From now on there is the possibility to stay logged in to his account for a certain period of time.
• The old news style was replaced by a new one.
• A download button has been added to image file types.
• No more .txt files can be uploaded from now on, as this had led to abuse.
• For adult files, an FSK18 warning is now displayed beforehand. 

• The "Learn More" button, by the information boxes on the home page has been removed as it was of no use.
• The file view of a .wmv file contained an error, which has now been fixed.
• The name of a file is now automatically shortened after a certain length.
• In the file reporting system (Abuse System), an error was fixed that caused a delay in processing.
• The login button is now also displayed on smaller screen resolutions (a reload of the page may be necessary).
• A bug in the file browser has been fixed. This should now work properly again.
• Fixed a bug with the password reset function.
• Fixed an error when uploading large files.

• The privacy policy has been updated to the latest version.

NEW FEATURE: 
UPLOAD A FILE DIRECTLY TO ONE OF YOUR FOLDERS

With this function it is possible to create and share secret tokens from your folders.

With this tokens, anyone you give this token, can upload files to this folder:

Simply insert the hash on the upload page in the settings tab and the files will be automatically uploaded to the folder

In order to be able to use this feature, it is necessary to have a paid subscription
(The "Pro"-Plan is required).
(But only to create the token, uploading is possible at any time without an account)

MINOR BUGFIXES

In our last update we did some small bugfixes. Among other things, the following bugs have been fixed:

• Due to an error, the main folder in the file browser could be deleted.
• A bug in the PayPal payment system has been fixed.
• Uploading multiple files simultaneously has now been activated for some paid plans
• max. limit of folders at the file browser has been fixed

WELCOME TO MEDIA-UPLOAD 3.0

We can finally tell you, that after a year of development we can replace our old (aging) platform with a nice, modern version. All old functions have been adopted in the new version and some new features have been added. But all users from the old site have to register again, as no data from the old version is taken over.

Is there anything else?

Very clear yes! In addition to the new website, our server cluster has also been renewed and now offers you even more bandwidth and higher availability (our availability is currently 100%). You can find more information about our data center location in our FAQ. Basically you will find an explanation for any features or actions in our FAQ. And if this should not be enough for you, you can open a support ticket.

Since we have not given our new version a large "test phase", small problems can occasionally arise. If you notice anything, please write us a support ticket so that we can fix the problem as soon as possible.
